Rick Goldenberg
Strategic Development and Analytics
Focusing on sales and business development, Rick is responsible for building new business relationships and strengthening those with existing customers and partners. He brings a deep understanding of the financial industry to the company, having held senior-level management positions at Instinet Corporation, NY, and Instinet Pacific Limited, Hong Kong. Rick holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Kevin Samuel
Technology and Vision
As CTO, Kevin lends his extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and software development to designing and developing LiquidityBook’s industry-leading, hosted financial services application. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Kevin was a principal at Block Orders Execution, LLC. Before that, he was a software developer at CosmoCom developing core Voice-Over-IP services and solutions for major telecommunication service providers. Kevin holds a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Shawn Samuel
Technology, Strategy, and Operations
Shawn focuses on technology, strategy, and operations at LiquidityBook. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Shawn was responsible for technology strategy as Chief Architect at the Hubbard One business of Thomson Reuters. Prior to that, Shawn was the Chief Technology Officer at Contact Networks, having built and led the technology team from a startup and then post acquisition by Thomson Reuters. Shawn also worked at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where he was a member of the Whole Genome Annotation team. He was also an architect at ATG and i2 Technologies. Shawn was a co-founder of Actuality Systems, where he developed novel volumetric rendering algorithms and is listed on one US patent. Shawn holds an A.B. Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry from Harvard College.
Sanjay Menon
Business Development
Sanjay Menon, CFA, worked as a quantitative futures trader between 2004 and 2010, trading self-coded black box models. He worked for Diamondback Capital Management between 2007 and 2010, and Tower Research Capital between 2004 and 2007. Before that, Sanjay built quantitative credit models for the insurance industry at Moody's Investors Service. Sanjay graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Mathematics.
Naftali Cohen
Business Development and Client Relations
Responsible for client on-boarding, FIX support and business development, Naftali draws upon his extensive experience as an analyst to drive success in both the technical and business side of the organization. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Naftali held the position of analyst, procurement and analytic solutions at A.T. Kearney. Naftali holds a B.A. in Economics, Politics and Philosophy from Hebrew University and a Post Baccalaureate Business Certificate from Columbia University.
Steven Dinowitz
Accounting and Finance
Steven Dinowitz oversees all of the vital accounting processes that relate to the company’s billing, due diligence in maintaining financial records, and managing vendor accounts. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Steve was project manager at Underwriter Laboratories and a Physics instructor at Adelphi University. Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in both Physics and Philosophy from Syracuse University.
