Kevin Samuel
Chief Executive Officer
As a founder of LiquidityBook, Kevin Samuel has been the driving force behind LiquidityBook’s industry-leading software platform since the firm’s inception. As the leader of LiquidityBook’s technology organization, Mr. Samuel and his team work closely with clients to ensure that the system meets our user’s evolving needs. Mr. Samuel began his career as a development engineer at CosmoCom, a provider of cloud-based contact center solutions. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago.

Sayant Chatterjee
Chief Operating Officer
Sayant Chatterjee joined LiquidityBook as COO in 2021. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategic alignment across all departments and guiding plans for the firm’s expansion, with a focus on enhancing the firm’s sell-side products and services. A veteran of the capital markets technology space, Mr. Chatterjee brings over 20 years of experience working with the broker-dealer community to design and deliver complex global solutions. He most recently served as CIO of JonesTrading, and before that held senior roles at Fidessa and ING Barings. Mr. Chatterjee is a graduate of Stony Brook University.

Shawn Samuel
Chief Technology Officer
Shawn Samuel is CTO of LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2011. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s technology platform globally. Mr. Samuel previously served as CTO for Contact Networks, which was eventually acquired by Thomson Reuters. Earlier in his career Samuel spent time in several senior technology roles at Art Technology Group, i2 Technologies and Actuality Systems. Mr. Samuel attended Harvard University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

James Baxter
Head of Global Buy-Side Sales
James Baxter is Head of Global Buy-Side Sales at LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2022. In this role, he is responsible for generating sales for the firm’s LBX Buy-Side product suite. Mr. Baxter previously served as Senior Director of New Sales at Eze Software Group, where he managed the company’s hedge fund sales for North America. Prior to that, he held sales roles at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Gain Capital. He holds a B.A. in Communications from Villanova University.

Jonathan Cross
General Manager, EMEA
Jonathan Cross joined LiquidityBook as General Manager, EMEA in 2022. In this role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of LiquidityBook’s EMEA business operations, including the continued development of the firm’s European buy- and sell-side client base. Mr. Cross also oversees LiquidityBook’s daily operations in the EMEA region. A veteran of the financial technology sector, Mr. Cross brings over two decades of senior leadership
experience to the role. He most recently served as Head of Sales and Business
Development at Messer Financial Software. Previously, he served as COO at Broadridge Financial Services' asset management arm and held the same role at Tradar (now part of SS&C Eze).

Taylor Wielage
Chief Financial Officer
Taylor Wielage is CFO of LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2015. He brings a wide range of experience, having worked on the buy side, sell side and vendor community. Mr. Wielage formerly served as CFO of accounting software provider PlanGuru, and before that worked in financial positions at Jefferies and Och-Ziff Capital Management. Mr. Wielage is a graduate of the University of Vermont.

Isaac Cambron
Vice President of Research and Development
Isaac Cambron is Vice President of Research and Development at LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2022. In this role, he acts as a senior product development leader for LiquidityBook’s expansive client base, working to meet its unique demands by translating challenges and preferences into new system features and updates. Before joining LiquidityBook, Mr. Cambron most recently served as Vice President, Engineering for Seismic – a cloud-based global sales enablement platform – where he led a sizable research and development team in building game-changing capabilities in a wide range of areas, including deep analytics, API-based functionality and AI/machine learning. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.

Andy Carroll
Chief Architect
Andy Carroll is Chief Architect at LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2017. In this role, he is responsible for the overall system architecture of LBX, LiquidityBook’s multi-asset POEMS platform, building innovative features to support every step of the trade lifecycle. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Mr. Carroll was a staff software engineer at Twitter, where his responsibilities included spearheading new livestreaming and syndication initiatives. Before that, he held senior software engineering roles at Bluefin Labs (acquired by Twitter), aPriori and i2 Technologies, among other prominent firms.

Can Envarli
Vice President of Engineering
Can Envarli is VP of Engineering at LiquidityBook, having joined the firm in 2023. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative engineering strategies to support and enhance LBX, LiquidityBook’s multi-asset POEMS platform. Prior to joining LiquidityBook, Mr. Envarli held several engineering roles at Twitter, where he most recently was a Senior Director of Engineering for a 175-person organization in its product platform. He began his career as a software developer at Microsoft. Mr. Envarli holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Chief Revenue Officer (In Memoriam)
Sean Sullivan was a pioneer in the trading technology space and a gifted salesman, with a career spanning over three decades and throughout unprecedented innovation across the industry. He joined LiquidityBook in 2016 as CRO and was instrumental in all aspects of LiquidityBook’s growth. Mr. Sullivan passed away November 13, 2021, but his impact has left an indelible mark on the culture and history of LiquidityBook.
Before joining LiquidityBook, Mr. Sullivan’s extensive resume included senior sales roles at REDI, Eze Castle Software, Bridge Information Systems and Thomson Reuters. He began his career on the sell side, working first as a financial adviser at Dean Witter and later as an equity trader Credit Lyonnais.
